Theresa Sheehan got her start with Data Resources Inc. (DRI) as a data assistant with responsibility for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of data sets from both the US and international sources. Later, she was a reporter, editor, and product developer at Market News International in Washington, DC for 15 years before spending over a decade with Stone & McCarthy Research Associates (later SMRA/Oxford Economics) in the role of analyst and researcher.
She is deeply familiar with the major economic data reports out of the US departments of Commerce, Labor, and Treasury. She has followed developments in monetary policy at the Federal Reserve for over 20 years and has a wealth of institutional knowledge to share.
She has bachelors degrees in English, Information Management, and Psychology from the University of Maryland University of College. She take a multi-disciplinary approach to combining data and words to build a contextual picture of the US economy and outlook for monetary policy.
