The St. Louis Fed’s Financial Stress Index was slightly less easy in the May 24 week to -1.244 after -1.244 in the prior week. The index is still consistent with very low stress in financial markets even with the increased uncertainty and risks from trade and tariff policy at home, worries about the status of Brexit and broader global economic conditions.
