On Monday, March 4, The Conference Board issued an interim release of the January Leading Economic Index to incorporate data newly available after the end of the partial government shutdown. The data sets are now up-to-date and The Conference Board will release the February report as planned on Thursday, March 21 at 10:00 ET.
The revised leading index was unrevised at 111.3, but was unchanged from the revised 111.3 in December (previously down 0.1% from 111.4). There were only minimal changes in the contributions from components.
